Semi-Custom Wedding Invitations

If you’re looking to have an elevated suite without the price tag of completely custom, this is a great alternative for you!

Semi-custom wedding invitations are pre-designed stationery that you can customize with your information and colour palette.

Semi-custom suites can take up to 4-6 weeks to design, print and ship depending on how long it takes for the proofs to be approved. Depending on embellishment options (wax seals, ribbon, etc.) additional time may be required.

The Process

Step 1: Place your Order

Choose the invitation suites that match your vision and fill in the information needed. Add all the stationery pieces and possible add-ons to your cart and complete your purchase. At this point payment in full is required and the order is non-refundable.

You will receive an email from us within 1 to 2 business days with a questionnaire to fill in. This helps us gather all the text and information required to get started on the artwork. Please ensure to double-check all spelling prior to submitting the questionnaire

Step 2: Design & Proofs

You will receive a personalized proof within 5-7 business days of receiving your questionnaire. The proof will include all elements from your order for review. At this time you will have the chance to review all the text and check for any mistakes or changes. Each order includes two revisions, any additional revisions will be charged at $45 CAD each.

If everything looks great to you, it’s time to complete the sign-off form to get everything sent to production. Once the sign-off form is completed, no additional changes can be made and everything gets sent off to print.

Step 3: Production & Shipping

Production can take 3 to 4 weeks depending on the printing method. Letterpress and foil printing will take approximately 5-6 weeks

Once production is complete, everything will be shipped off to you via Canada Post. Your invitations will not come fully assembled and will arrive in stacks. You will need to stuff the envelopes and provide postage for the envelopes. Tracking numbers will be provided to you once shipped.

Shipping Policy

Everything is designed, printed, and assembled in Ottawa, Ontario with shipping options available worldwide. Shipping fees may vary per location, customs and duty charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please allocate extra time in your timeline for shipping outside of Canada.

The Invitation Studio will not be held responsible for lost or damaged products after they have been turned over to the client or shipped. The Invitation Studio is not responsible for Post Office damage, negligence, or weather conditions while mailing invitations.

Return Policy

Due to the nature of the product, all sales are final. We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds under any circumstances.

Printing only begins once you have approved your digital proofs. Once approved, we are unable to make any changes to your design or paper and envelope choices.
